It is found in foods such as eggs, nuts, fish, dairy and vegetables. Although rare, its deficiency can cause hair loss, brittle nails, fatigue and skin rashes. If you notice sudden, irregular, or excessive hair loss, or if you experience other symptoms such as itching, redness, or inflammation of the scalp, it is advisable to consult a physician to determine the cause and receive appropriate treatment.
